To determine the colorfastness to light of digitally printed textiles a Suntest XLS+ was used following the AATCC standards. An AATCC blue wool lightfastness standand was used to determine the amount of ight exposure needed for the digitally printed samples. A spectrophotometer was then used to read the red, blue, and green color of all  samples. The L*a*b* color and ΔE* was recorded for each color of each sample.
